William Roger Holley the son of Herman B. Holley, Sr., and Doris Jean Jordan Holley closed his eyes and slipped peacefully into eternal rest on March 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
William was a graduate of the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf and the ENC Vocational School in Greenville, NC. A friendly person to all he met, there were no strangers to him, he would speak and wave to everyone even if they didn't speak to him. He was always willing to give you a helping hand.
The Holley Family would like for their family and friends to join them in the Vestry of the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Chapel, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from five o'clock to seven o'clock in the evening for a walk through viewing. They will celebrate the joyous life of William at the noon hour with a Committal Service on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Holley Family Cemetery, Gatesville, NC.
Mask are asked to be worn for the Walk-Through viewing as well as the Service.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his father-Herman Holley, Sr.; his mother who never left his side-Doris Jean Jordan Holley; three brothers-Keith Holley, Herman Holley, Jr. (Ericka) and Eric Holley of the home; one sister-Karen D. Holley of Hertford, NC; two nephews-Brian Holley and Kalani Holley of Hertford, NC; a very special nephew-Kesean Holley who he truly loved; two uncles-James C. Holley (Louise) of Gates, NC and Warren Holley of Gatesville, NC; two aunts-Paulette Rush (Roosevelt) and Patricia Parks; two great-aunts-Marion Overton and Ellen Eason of Hobbsville, NC; special cousins-Edith Holley, Evon Eason, Lisa Braxton, Mabel Elliot (Ercell) all of Hobbsville, NC; two very special friends-Richard Holley and Jamie Grant; a host of cousins.
