"ALL day and ALL night, Angels are watching over the Bond Family"

On Sunday, May 29, 2022 our beloved Thomas C.Bond drifted peacefully away to the other shore, while his daughter and brother set at his bedside. Thomas was born in Gates County, North Carolina on December 27, 1961 to the late Henry and Otelia Costen Bond.

Thomas was reared in a Christian home and at an early age he joined St. John AMEZ Church in Sunbury, North Carolina. Tommy graduated from Gates County High with the Class of 1980. He also, love basketball and was a great point guard. Tommy furthered his education at NC Central College. Thomas loved to watch basketball and football. Anytime the Dallas Cowboys were playing, you could believe that Thomas was watching the greatest team and cheering them on (How 'Bout 'Dem Cowboys)!!!

The Bond Family will Celebrate the joyous life of Thomas on Saturday, June 04, 2022 at the noon hour, at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev. Charles Eason will bring forth words of comfort. His earthly shell will be laid to rest in the St. John's Drake Memorial Cemetery in Sunbury, NC.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memories to his baby doll (daughter) Alisha Melton; two grandsons- Tahj Melton and Michael Melton all of Gatesville, NC; Seven brothers, William Bond (Delores deceased) Lance Bond (Vanessa) of Hampton,VA Earl Bond of Sunbury,NC; Coston Bond (Phyllis) of Eure, NC; Richard Bond of Edenton, NC; George Bond (Marva) of Sunbury,NC and David Bond (Marcia) of Hobbsville,NC; one sister: Celestine Bond of Linden, New Jersey; he also leaves behind a lot of broken hearts that called him “Uncle Tommy”. 

The Bond Family entrusted the team of Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home of Gatesville, NC to serve them during their time of bereavement. DJSMFH professional team will assist the Bond Family during their hours of bereavement and beyond through unprecedented, sincere, heartfelt, compassionate and detailed personalized services catered to the Bond Family wishes and desires. Please continue to uplift the family Thomas Bond and all connected families through words of comfort, telephone calls/text messages, prayers, "virtual" hugs, thoughts or even just a smile.
