Midday on the twenty-second day of November 2020, our beloved Shelley O. Norfleet packed his bag and boarded the Gospel train to Heaven, where he can sit on his new porch and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Together Shelley's children made his final arrangements and they have unanimously decided on a Graveside Service, for Monday the thirtieth day of November 2020 at the two o'clock hour. Services will be rendered at the catacomb of the family estates of the Norfleet Family (Norfleet Family Cemetery, Gatesville, NC).

Due to the current Pandemic that we are being faced with at this time, known as Covid-19, we will be practicing social distancing, and all proper safety protocols will be strictly enforced (including but not limited to wearing of proper face coverings) by ALL attendees, during the graveside service. 

Shelley leaves to cherish many years of fond memories of him to his beautiful daughters-Diane Norfleet, Shelley Norfleet, Lamesha Arline and Janet Harrell; devoted sons-Christopher Norfleet and Carl Arline; brother-George Norfleet; sisters-Addie Pollard, Estella Presswood, Vernell Patmon, Althea Norfleet and Judy Baker; his pride and joys his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Norfleet Family entrusted the team of Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home of Gatesville, NC to serve them during their time of bereavement. DJSMFH professional team will assist the Norfleet Family during their hours of bereavement and beyond through unprecedented, sincere, heartfelt, compassionate and detailed personalized services catered to the Norfleet Family wishes and desires. Please continue to uplift the immediate family of Shelley O. Norfleet, and all connected families through words of comfort, telephone calls/text messages, prayers, "virtual" hugs, thoughts or even just a smile.
