On the fourteenth day of November of twenty-two one father, brother, grandfather and uncle Roland Edward Riddick was called home to reunite with his parents Katy and Lee Riddick; twin brother-Mordecia; Mary, William, Lucille, Susie, and James.
Roland was more than just one of the families cooks he was a "chef"; everyone loved his delicious meals.
The Riddick Family will commemorate a life well lived by celebrating his life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the one o'clock hour at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Winfall, NC where the Rev. Alvin J. Boone, Sr. is the Pastor and Bishop J. S. Harrell will bring forth words of comfort . Roland will be ensepulchered in the Riddick Family Cemetery.
We are still adhering to all health and safety protocols, ALL attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
Roland leaves to cherish his fond memories to his wife-LuEllen Riddick; two daughters-Katie Davis and LaTonya Riddick; one son-Roland, Jr.; one brother-LeRoy Riddick (Sherldine); one sister-Janet R. Hodnett; one God-Daughter-Shaleace Hayes; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
The Riddick Family, found it fitting to entrust Roland into the capable hands, of Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home. The DJSMFH professional staff will assist their Riddick Family during their time of bereavement and beyond through unprecedented, sincere, heartfelt, compassionate and personalized detailed services.
