Georgia Delotach Obituary

"ALL day and ALL night ANGELS are watching over the Deloatch Family"

"One of these days I’m going home to get my just reward,  I know if I keep working I know I’ll get my pay
Just as soon as I can see this man, The one that set me free
That shown Judah up that mountain, That same man from Galilee
I know he’ll meet me, And I do believe he’ll greet me
Look at him standing with his arms wide open, Waiting there to welcome me
And I’ll be RESTING EASY..."

Our beloved Georgia Marie Goodman Deloatch departed this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC after a brief illness.

Marie as she was affectionately called was born in Gates County on April 30, 1938 to the late Allen and Rebecca Williams Goodman. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn Moses Deloatch, her brother- Thomas Goodman, her God daughter LaKisa Gail Crouch.

Marie enjoyed her life traveling to different places; South Carolina, Atlantic City, Portsmouth, VA to the zoo in Asheville, NC and other places with Erma Lee Parker. Some of her past time activities included playing bingo, drinking Dr. Pepper, doing word searches, book puzzles and reading the Bible.
