Dallas Brickhouse, Jr., slipped peacefully into eternal rest on September 6, 2023. He bid no one his last farewell or even said good-bye he was gone before we knew it and only God knows why. We are believing and trust that he is SAFE IN THE ARMS OF THE LORD!

He was the son of the late Thelma Alexander Brickhouse and Dallas Brickhouse Sr. He was also, preceded in death by one brother, Shelton Brickhouse and two Sisters Cassandra Brickhouse, Dottie Brickhouse Sanders and his beloved wife Tracy Ann Norfleet  preceded him in death.  

Dallas attended Gates County Schools and graduated in 1980. After graduating, he made a living in the agriculture/farming industry working with various employers throughout the county.

The Brickhouse Family with saddened hearts will Celebrate the Life of Dallas on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the one o'clock hour on the terrace of Dallas and his family.

Dallas leaves to cherish his memory six children: Dallas Griffin of Gatesville, NC, Dana Griffin and Brandon Brickhouse of Suffolk VA, Omar Brickhouse of Rocky Mount, NC, Lori Brickhouse, and Ryan Brickhouse of the home. He also leaves eight grandchildren: Deronye, Layla, Kaliyah, Nevaeh, Omar Jr., Elon, Tahiri, Dalani, and two great-grand children: Saiur and Harper.  He also leaves 10  siblings: Barbara Knight (William) and Freda Melton (Randy) of Gates, NC, Rufus Brickhouse (Carrie) of Springfield Gardens, NY, Joann Howell (Lloyd), Charlie Covington and Evelyn Askew (Samuel) of Gatesville, NC,  Norris Brickhouse (Claudia) of Chester, VA, William Brickhouse (Rosa) of Hampton VA , and Gregory Brickhouse of Spring Hill FL, two aunts, one l uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.

He was a loving father and grandfather and a hard worker.  He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and all types of sports, especially NAScar racing.  He will truly be missed!
