"ALL night and ALL day ANGELS are watching over the Williams Family"
"Father can you hear me
We need your love today
I know that you are listening
you hear me everyday
Father please hear us
and we will be ok
father we need you to heal families today..."
Little did we know that on Saturday, August 31, 2019 the Williams Family chain of the Newland Township would lose an important link, that special link is Calvin Williams. Calvin slipped peacefully into his eternal rest at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA. He was the son of the late Joe Williams and Naomi Gallop Williams.
Calvin was a member of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. He had a passion for all aspects of agriculture.
The Williams Family decided on the following funeral service itinerary for their beloved Calvin. On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, the family will meet and greet family and friends starting at three o'clock until five o'clock at the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Time of viewing and reflecting of Calvin's earthly shell will begin promptly at five o'clock and ending precisely at seven o'clock. The Celebration of Life Service will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church at two o'clock in he afternoon.
Mr. Williams leaves to cherish eighty-seven years of beautiful memories to his daughter-Patricia Williams; son-James Williams (Greneva); brother-Linwood Williams (Fannie); thirteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
The Williams Family has chose Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, to carry out their wishes to honor their husband and father.
