Betty Holley Obituary

"ALL day and ALL night ANGELS are watching over the White and Holley Families"

"Your tears are just temporary relief.
Your tears are just a release of the pain, sorrow, grief.
Your tears are expressions that can't controlled.
A little crying out is alright,
but after awhile you won't have to cry no more;
don't you worry, God's gonna wipe every tear away..."

During the afternoon hours on Wednesday the twenty-seventh day of July in the year of twenty-twenty two the White and Holley Family set bedside and watched Mother Betty White Holley transition from her earthly bed and receive her new address in Heaven.

Betty was the daughter of the late Booker and Anna Overton White. She was preceded in death by her sister Beatrice Collins. In 1969, she married the late Elbert A. Holley.

Betty joined Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church, at an early age and remained a faithful member until her health began to fail.

The children have decided to celebrate the life of their mother  on Tuesday, August the second at the Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church. At six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening, family and friends will be able to ogle, reflect and anecdote on the seventy-nine years of Betty's beautiful life. On Wednesday, promptly at one o'clock in the afternoon, the Obsequy will take place at Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Nicole Spencer, Officiating and Pastor Vickie Holley bringing forth words of comfort to her family. Mother Holley's earthly shell will be laid to rest in the Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Belvidere, NC.

It is highly recommended and suggested that ALL participants still adhere to the Covid-19 mandates for health and safety precautions which include but not limited to the wearing of cloth face masks and social distancing.

Betty leaves to mourn and celebrate her life to her devoted children: Bertha JoAnn White of Belvidere, NC and William Eugene White, Sr., (Roberta); grandson-William Eugene White, Jr. (Shoniqua) of Belvidere, NC; great-granddaughter-Kaori G'Nai White also known as "Princess", her love of Belvidere, NC; two brothers-Bernice T.
