Willie Edward Baker a loving son, brother and uncle transitioned from his Earthly home, to his prepared home in Glory, where he is now walking side by side with Lord on the streets paved in gold, with his beautiful smile. He is the son of Mary Baker and the late Willie Baker.
Willie was a loyal Washington Redskins and now Commander’s fan. He was often seen wearing his team’s gear. He was a loveable person who loved life and his family.

"Junior" as he was affectionately known by, life will be Remembered and Celebrated on Friday, November the fifteenth from four o'clock to six o'clock in the afternoon in the Placidity Room at the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Chapel, Gatesville, NC. On Saturday the sixteenth day of November the Homegoing Celebration for "Junior" will take place at the New Middle Swamp Missionary Baptist Church, Corapeake, NC, at one o'clock in the afternoon, burial will supervene the Homegoing Celebration.
He is survived by his mother: Mary Riddick Baker of Gatesville NC; sisters: Angela Moseley (Reginald) of North Prince George, VA, and Sheila Boone of Rich Square, NC; grandmother: Susie E. Riddick of Corapeake, NC.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Willie was a loving young man who will be greatly missed.
The Baker Family entrusted the team of Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home of Gatesville, NC to serve them during their time of bereavement.
