It is with heartfelt sympathy that we join in with the the entire Jones family and announce the transitioning of their beloved family SOLDIER , father, brother, Willie James Jones of Moyock, NC.. Willie was called from labour to reward on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Hunter Holmes-McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA.

A viewing will take place on Friday, March 16, 2018 from six o'clock until eight o'clock; at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Winfall, NC. A Homegoing Celebration honoring Willie will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Melton Grove, Pastor Alvin J. Boone, Sr., will bring forth the Eulogy. Mr. Jones will be laid to rest immediately following his Homegoing Celebration in the church cemetery.

Willie is leaving his life long memories to his son-James Anthony Jones, of Moyock, NC; one God-daughter-Tasha Patton of Charlotte, NC; four sisters-Ronnie Woodard of Brooklyn, NY; Peggy Modlin (William) of Elizabeth City, NC; Florence White of Capital Heights, MD; Cynthia Cunningham of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers-William White (Barbara) of Higganum, CT and Leon White of Winfall, NC; two grandchildren and one God granddaughter.

The Jones family has selected the capable staff of the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home to serve them during their time of bereavement, to render, sincere , personalized and compassionate services to them. Please continue to pray for the Jones family and all connected families.
