The Norfleet Family of Gatesville, NC mourns in the passing of their beloved father, brother, uncle and friend Shirley Odell Norfleet . Shirley departed this life on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the comfort of his home around those whom he loved oh, so dearly.

The final arrangements for Mr. Norfleet are as follow: funeral service will be conducted in the Vestry at the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, Gatesville, NC on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the eleven o'clock hour . Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in the Norfleet Family Cemetery, Gatesville, NC. A viewing for Shirley will take place on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Vestry at DJSMFH from five o'clock until seven o'clock pm.

Mr. Norfleet was the son of Shelley Odell Norfleet and the late Emma Jane Arline Norfleet.

In addition to his father, survivors include one daughter- Shirley Nicole Sloan (Donald) of Wilmington, NC; one son- Cassius Norfleet of Gatesville, NC; four sisters- Lamesha Arline of Ahoskie, NC, Janet Harrell (Arnold) of Portsmouth, VA, Shelley Norfleet of Texas and Diane Norfleet of Gatesville, NC; two brothers-Carl Arline of Gatesville, NC and Christopher Norfleet of Suffolk, VA and 2 grandchildren.

Stallings Memorial Funeral Home to assist them during their time of bereavement through sincere, compassionate, personalized services for Shirley .
