We the staff and management of the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, mourns with our extended family, in the transitioning from labor to reward of Mr.Samuel McKinley Beamon, the son of the late Charlie and Ella Beamon. Mr. Beamon transitioned on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Celebration of life for Mr. Beamon will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC at noon with the Dr. Rev. Ricky L. Banks as the Eulogist. The Beamon family will greet friends on Thursday, January 18, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the church. Mr. Beamon will lie in state on Friday for one-hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC.

Mr. Beamon was the owner and operator of the Beamon Taxi Service, for fifty-six years. He had a passion for driving taxi and making sure that children got to and from school brought joy to his days.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of sixty-nine years-Jane Beamon of the home; one daughter-Jauntee Beamon-Wilkins (Clinton) of Roper, NC; three sons-Elie Beamon (Rose), Sam Beamon (Crystal) and Vincent Beamon (Maureen) all of Elizabeth City, NC; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
