It is with heartfelt sympathy that we join the Davis-Turner Families in announcing the transitioning of Rebecca Davis-Turner . Late in the midnight hour on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 surrounded by her devoted husband, Rebecca Davis Turner gained her Heavenly Angel Wings and went to join her Heavenly Father and walk down streets that are paved with gold. Rebecca was the daughter of the late Sidney and Priscilla Davis-Winslow. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will truly be missed by all that came in contact with her.

Requiem Services for Rebecca will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at noon at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC; where Rev. Freddie Godfrey is the Pastor, Rev. Junious Johnson will bring forth the words of comfort. Viewing of her earthly shell will be one hour prior to the start of the Requiem Service.  They family has chosen to lay their beloved Rebecca to rest in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC.

Rebecca leaves to cherish ninety-seven years of fond memories to her beloved and devoted husband-Alonzo Turner; three sons-Clinton Turner (Harriet) of Greensboro, NC; Dallas Turner of Elizabeth City, NC and Albert Alonzo Turner of Georgia; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The Davis-Turner Families selected the professionals at the Denis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home to assist them during their time of bereavement through sincere, compassionate, personalized services for Rebecca . Please continue to uplift the entire Davis-Turner Families through words of comfort, a hug, thought or maybe even just a simple smile.
