"ALL day and ALL night ANGLES are watching over the Arline and Freeman Families"

"...So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown..."

Pearly Freeman, the daughter of Pecola Wilson and step-father Joe Wilson, was born on December 2, 1933. Was called home on February 25, 2026 at the Gates Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gatesville, NC.
