Ms. Mary Alice Moore was born on November 1, 1951 in Corapeake, NC to the late Walter and Emma Parks Moore.

Gaynell Parks was also a mother to Alice and helped raise her. She was a member of St.Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Board.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers: Linwood,Raymond, Henry, Claude,Thomas, Otis, Lloyd; and two sisters: Bessie and Dorothy.

Alice leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter: Katisha Baker (Lindsay) of Gates,NC; four sisters: Della Moore of Waterbury,CT,Pearly Lee of Gates, NC, Janece Dean (Stan) of Portsmouth, VA, and Jaynetta Royster (Michael) of Chesapeake, VA; one brother: James Parks of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren: A.J., Ke’Shawn, Ka’Leigh, and La’Niya; one brother-in-law: Ededie Harper of South Carolina; one sisterin-law: Peggy Moore of Gates,NC; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
