On December 04, 2023 our beloved Elder Leroy Jones, Jr. traded in his earthly shouting shoes for his new heavenly shoes that he will walk around heaven in all day. Leroy who was affectionally known as "Nuke" was the son of Leroy Jones, Sr. and Doris Simpson. He was also the spouse of Charlene B. Jones.

"...But before I go,  I'm gonna let you know
I'll be living in my brand new home..."

Viewing for Elder Jones will commence on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the First Baptist Missionary Church in Hertford, NC, starting promptly at five o'clock in the afternoon until the seven o'clock hour. On Saturday, December 16, 2023 at eleven o'clock in the forenoon a Homegoing Celebration of Praise and Worship will embark.

The Jones Family entrusted the team of Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home of Gatesville, NC to serve them during their time of bereavement.
