"ALL day and ALL night Angels are watching over the Brothers Family"
"I trust in God, my Savior, The One who will never fail
He will never fail, I trust in God, my Savior
The One who will never fail, He will never fail..."
Ninety-nine years of life is a testament to a journey filled with precious memories, valuable lessons, enduring strength, and countless blessings. A life that spanned nearly a century leaves behind a legacy that time can never erased. Surely, he must have eaten over a million peppermint candies. Perhaps, that was secret for living a long life.
Deacon Charlie L. Brothers the son of the late James and Maggie Brothers transitioned peacefully from labor to reward, surrounded by his beautiful family on Monday, October 19, 2026.
At an early age he joined the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was an Ordained Deacon and a member of three of the church choirs.
Charlie was known by everyone as a kind, generous, and helpful person. He was quite humorous, always making people laugh, even during his declining health. Many remember him for his holiday fruit cakes and homemade churned ice cream. Surely, he must have eaten over a million peppermint candies. Perhaps, that’s the secret for long life. Charlie loved his family very much and his family loved him back. The Lord was truly good to him and blessed him abundantly.
Charlie was preceded in death by his siblings — Fred, Percy, Dorothy, Joyce L, Margaret, Levi, and Murray; his grandchild, Tre’, great-grandchildren, Armani, and Mayson; and two special brothers-in-law, Edward and Ernest.
"...Perfect submission, all is at rest
I know the author of tomorrow has ordered my steps
So this is my story and this is my song
I'm praising my risen King and Savior all the day long.."
