It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of such a beloved sister and aunt, Ms. Beatrice Diane Lowry of Chesapeake, VA . Ms. Lowry slipped peacefully into her eternal rest on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA; surrounded by her devoted and caring family members by her side.

An Obsequies for Beatrice will be conducted in the sanctorium of the Victory Praise and Worship Center, Elizabeth City, NC on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at twelve noon with Pastor Daniel Spence, Presiding. The words of comfort will be given by her loving sister- Pastor Wanda Adkins. Ms. Lowry final resting place will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing of her earthly remains will take place on Friday from five o'clock to seven o'clock at Victory Praise and Worship Center.

Ms. Lowry was the daughter of the late Theodore Brown and Willow Mae Lowry Brown.

Ms. Lowry is leaving years of memories to her devoted sisters: Mary Williams (Aubrey), Tonya Brown both of Elizabeth City, NC and Pastor Wanda Adkins of Chesapeake, VA and one brother Anthony Brown of Elizabeth City, NC; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family of Beatrice D. Lowry has entrusted the DJSMFH professional staff to assist them during their time of bereavement and beyond through u nprecedented, heartfelt, compassionate and detailed services .
