Stella Holley Obituary

"ALL NIGHT, ALL DAY angels are watching over the McPherson-Holley Families"

"There's a place in Heaven prepared for Stella...when the toils of this life is over, Where the Saints are clothed in white before the throne singing praises forever, forever more..."

With broken hearts and tear filled eyes the McPherson and Holley Families are saddened to announce the sudden transitioning from Earth to Glory of their beloved wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Stella McPherson-Holley. Stella gained her angel wings and slipped peacefully into her eternal rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, NC; surrounded by her outstanding and loving family members by her side.

Stella was the daughter of the late William Henry and Christine Armstrong McPherson. She was employed by the McPherson Tax Services of Elizabeth City, NC for over twenty years. Stella was a devoted member of Faith and Victory Christian Center.

A Obsequies for Stella's life will convene on Saturday, September 22, 2018 beginning promptly at noon at Faith and Victory Christian Center, with Dr. Larry Brown bringing forth the Eulogy. Viewing of her Earthly vessel will be on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Faith and Victory Christian Center from five o'clock until seven o'clock . Stella will be laid to rest in the vicinity of  her mother and sisters in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC.

Stella leaves behind many years of fond and beautiful memories to her beloved husband of twenty-two years: James A. "Tony" Holley of the home; three sisters-Pastor Gloria Brown (Dr. Larry), Deaconess Sharon White (Deacon Charlie) and Robin Holley; five brothers-William McPherson (Gloria) of Camden, NC; Minister James McPherson (Kim), Minister Ernest McPherson, Zebedee McPherson (Rosemary) all of Elizabeth City, NC and Randy McPherson of Edenton, NC; one God-son; a special and devoted companion her dog-Buster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, clients, friends and church members.

The McPherson-Holley Families chose their family at the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, to carry out their final wishes of care and love for Stella. DJSMFH professional staff will assist the McPherson-Holley Families during their time of bereavement and beyond through unprecedented, heartfelt and personalized detailed services. "...Jesus promised Stella a home over there, Jesus promised her a home over there. No more sickness, sorrow, pain or care, He promised Stella a home over there..."
