During the early morning hours of Sunday, March 17th, 2019, our precious Lloyd V. Moore, Sr., took the lead of the Lord and followed him home, five days after celebrating his last earthly birthday. Lloyd was surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and other care takers as he was called home.

The Moore Family has instructed the team of DJSMFH of their final wishes for Lloyd which are; viewing and time of reflection will take place on the twenty-second day of March two thousand nineteen in the Vestry of the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, Gatesville, NC. Family and friends will have the opportunity to reflect on their many fond memories starting at the four o'clock hour and ending precisely at six o'clock.  On Saturday, the twenty-third day of March at eleven o'clock in the morning, Homegoing Celebration for Lloyd will take place at the Moore Family Cemetery, Medical Center Road, Gates, NC.

Lloyd leaves eighty-three years of loving memories to his wife-Peggy D. Moore; four children-Lloyd V. Moore, Jr., Regina Thomas, Alan Moore and Renee Rice; two step-children-Bryant and L.T.; four grandchildren-Akeema, Zhane, Jade and ShaKayla; four sisters-Dorothy Harper, Della Moore, Mary Moore and Pearly Lee; three brother-in laws-Natty, Irvin and Ronnie; four sister-in laws-June, Melody, Shirley and Shawntae; father in-law-Clarenece Williams; a host of cousins and friends. 

The Moore Family has entrusted Lloyd into the professional care of the Dennis J. Stallings Memorial Funeral Home, to provide unprecedented, sincere personalized and compassionate services to them during the final care process for Lloyd. Please continue to uplift the Moore Family and the connected families through words of comfort, prayers, hugs, thought or a smile or two.
